About Christopher K. Collins
Christopher K. Collins, Ed.S., is a former teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and regional office director. He led Glenside Middle School in Glendale Heights for 12 years, directed curriculum and instruction for DuPage School District 45, and led school improvement work at the Boone-Winnebago Regional Office of Education, including the turnaround of Summit Academy.
He holds an Ed.S. in Educational Administration with superintendent licensure from Northern Illinois University. He is an ISBE-approved Administrator Academy trainer, a certified PERA evaluator, and a NAESP-certified principal mentor. He also serves as a part-time Strategic Advisor at Catalyst for Educational Change.
His work centers on three things: implementation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
